My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Nana perform twice in the U.S. Although we won’t see her again in person, her recordings delight us. There is not another voice like hers. I hope she knows just how much pleasure she has given to so many thousands.

Nana Mouskouri does indeed have a beautiful voice, despite being born (in 1934) with just one vocal chord. This wonderful piece of music was written by Joaquin Rodrigo in 1939 and is entitled “Concierto de Aranjuez” for guitar and orchestra.
